Introduction

Welcome to AMRAPP. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how AMRAPP collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

1. Data You Provide

Workout Data (stored locally on your device):

• Exercise names, sets, reps, weights, times, distances
• Workout dates and timestamps
• Custom exercises you create
• Workout routines you build
• Personal records (PRs) and achievements

Profile Information (optional, stored locally):

• Display name (optional)
• Body weight, Height, Age
• Max heart rate (optional, for accurate training zones)
• Profile picture (if you choose to add one)

2. Health & Fitness Data

Heart Rate Monitoring:

• Live heart rate data from Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate monitors
• Heart rate data from Apple Watch companion app (iOS only)
• Heart rate zone calculations
• Cardiac Effort Scores

Apple Watch Companion App (iOS Only): The AMRAPP Apple Watch app reads heart rate and active calories via HealthKit during workouts. Workout sessions are saved to Apple Health on your device. Heart rate data is transmitted from Watch to iPhone via WatchConnectivity (device-to-device, no external servers).

Important: All health data is stored locally on your device. We never transmit heart rate data to external servers. Apple Watch data travels only between your Watch and iPhone via Apple's encrypted WatchConnectivity framework.

3. Bluetooth Data

Heart Rate Monitors:

• BLE device names and identifiers (e.g., "Polar H10")
• Connection status and battery level
• Heart rate measurements

Important: Bluetooth is NOT used for location tracking. We set the neverForLocation flag to prevent Bluetooth-based location tracking.

What We DON'T Collect

• No account credentials (no login system)
• No email addresses or phone numbers
• No payment information
• No analytics or usage tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No browsing history or web data

How We Use Your Information

Local Storage Only

All workout data, health data, and profile information is stored exclusively in a local Hive database on your device. This data never leaves your device except when:

1. You choose to export it (Backup Data feature)
2. You share routines with friends (via device sharing)

No Cloud Sync

AMRAPP does not have cloud servers. Your data is not automatically backed up or synced. You are responsible for exporting backups if you want to preserve your data.

Third-Party Services

AMRAPP uses Flutter plugins that operate locally without network access. No third-party analytics or advertising services are integrated.

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in your app's private storage directory, protected by your device's operating system encryption.

Your Rights & Choices

• Data Access: View all workout data in the app (History screen)
• Data Deletion: Delete individual workouts or uninstall the app
• Data Portability: Export all data as JSON via Settings
• Permissions: Manage Bluetooth, Notifications in device settings

Children's Privacy

AMRAPP is intended for users aged 13 and older (16+ in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

GDPR Compliance (EU Users)

EU users have rights including: Access, Rectification, Erasure, Data Portability, and Withdrawal of Consent. Data does not leave your device except for user-initiated sharing.

CCPA Compliance (California Users)

California users have rights to Know, Delete, and Opt-Out of Sale. We do NOT sell your personal information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
